Practise identifying action verbs in a job description to understand responsibilities, expectations, and how to frame your interview answers in clear, professional English.

Introduction

In job descriptions, key responsibilities usually begin with action verbs. These verbs give you clues about what type of work you’ll be doing, and what kind of stories the interviewer wants to hear about.

In this task, you’ll practise identifying the most important action verbs in a job description and interpreting what they reveal about the role.

  • Experience with SQL is desired but not essential
